"Do Not Mark All Read" April Update

First of the month, and time to do a little RSS housekeeping. I've added a few feeds and actually downgraded a few from "Do Not Mark All Read" status. Read what I said on March 1 here, and for a full overview of the DNMAR feed, check here. Finally, you can subscribe to the RSS of these blogs here.

Here's where we stand on April Fools (no joke - ha!):

No Change

Lifehacker
Politico's Playbook
Dan Shanoff
Eagle in Atlanta
Have You Met Ted?
ReadWriteWeb
Forrester Blog for Interactive Marketing Professionals
WhyDotPharma

What didn't make the cut? Although it pains me to do it (because of that dreamy Nate Silver), I have moved Five Thirty Eight out of the DNMAR. It's gotten to be a little too inside-baseball and many times, I find myself skimming over it. Still in the reader, of course, but under the news tag as opposed to a daily-must-read. Also, I'm up in the air about adding two new blogs - the once daily Indexed is always good for a laugh or clever Venn diagram, and a witty blog I recently discovered on NYTimes.com on creative new additions to the English language called Schott's Vocab.

Most in danger of being moved back to regular feed folders? I think we're in a good place this month, but if anything got moved around, it'd likely be Have You Met Ted?. Don't get me wrong, I think JD has a fantastic blog, but with only two-to-three posts per week and most breaking news being picked up by other blogs like TV Squad, it just seems a little redundant.

What did I add? Dumb Little Man. There's something about DIY and GTD blogs that really fascinate me, and when it comes to actually finding legit advice, DLM is up there with Lifehacker in terms of useful blogs.

As always - tell me what I should add or beg me to add Nate Silver back.

Hey there. Thanks for subscribing to Have You Met Ted. You're totally right about there not being a lot of 'recent news' posts on the site—there are plenty of other blogs posting recent news that I couldn't hope to keep up.

The thing that's best about HYMT is the recap discussions. That's why I recommend that people subscribe via email. That way you get one or two emails a week when a new post goes up and can go join the discussion, all while keeping your RSS reader clear.

However you read, I appreciate it. Thanks!
